As you embark on your journey through the beautiful landscapes of feudal Japan in Ghost of Tsushima, you'll encounter a series of challenging duels with the Ronin, skilled swordsmen who will test your skills and patience. Kojiro, one of the toughest opponents, awaits you at his hideout near the giant Buddha statue in Toyotama.

To emerge victorious against these formidable foes, it's essential to adopt a patient and strategic approach. Avoid going on the offensive too quickly, as this will only leave you open to swift and devastating counterattacks. Instead, focus on mastering your defensive techniques, such as the Stone Stance, which can be particularly effective against sword-wielding enemies like Kojiro.

The Ronin are formidable opponents, but with practice and perseverance, you'll develop the skills necessary to defeat them. Remember that you can always switch to easy difficulty if these duels prove too challenging, or upgrade your weapons and armor before returning to face your adversaries again.

For an easier method of dispatching these enemies, try holding down in Water Stance and releasing it while hammering a few times for a long combo. However, keep in mind that these duels are straight-up swordfights, requiring constant dodging, parrying, and striking on the counter when opportunities arise.
